The reforms reduced these landholdings substantially; the land lost appears to have gone largely to other enterprises and private farmers. In most cases no change was made in the formal structure of the farm enterprise in the course of the reforms; the present structure is reported to be formally registered. In most cases the assets are pooled; only in one case have they been divided.
